In 2010, NGK supplies spark plugs to 2 engine manufacturers, Mercedes and Ferrari. With NGK spark plugs fitted in the engines of 12 of these manufacturers' cars, belonging to a total of 6 teams, NGK will continue to strive to maintain its position as one of the top spark plug manufacturers in the world.

During the 2010 season as well, NGK will develop and provide spark plugs to the two great works teams of Citroën and Ford, and will strive to maintain its position as top spark plug manufacturer in the world.

In the 2009 season, the NGK support teams were second in the driver's ranking for both classes. Having just fallen short of taking the series title, in the 2010 season, NGK will develop and supply spark plugs for the new model HONDA HSV and the NISSAN GT-R, which is equipped with a new engine.
In addition, NGK will continue to provide the same support as last year to the GT300 class teams.
