Silicone rubber is used for the cables. Tried and tested phenolic resin is used for the covers, and ceramic resistors that suppress noise are incorporated into them. Cables that have been encased in silicone rubber are highly resistant to temperature variations and have exceptional durability and withstand voltage characteristics.

The cover shape of LY11 (SY11, XY11) is the same as that of LZ05F (SZ05F, XZ05F).

Part number: J-1

With the exception of some vehicle models, a cable joint (J-1) is required to fit a cover & cable.

Construction and materials that can stand up to punishing conditions allow the engine to run with spark noise suppressed.

This is a cap incorporating ceramic resistors that reduces the noise generated by the sparks in a spark plug. When it is used in combination with a spark plug that incorporates a resistor too, there is a further noise prevention effect.

Construction

In order to ensure a high dielectric strength, the resistor device is incorporated by the method of hot press-fitting. The long design of the resistor device also ensures a stable resistance value.

Characteristic

1. Pronounced noise-prevention effects
A ceramic resistor has been adopted because it suffers little deterioration and has a small resistance value. Since the resistor is long there are no internal flash-overs and there are pronounced noise-prevention effects.
2. Excellent waterproofing with no current leakage
The special waterproof construction prevents current leakage due to rainwater and other causes.
3. Highly reliable and durable construction
The cap body is made of materials with a high heat resistance and high dielectric strength, such as phenolic resin and high-quality synthetic rubber.
Because we have used the hot press-fitting method, the plug connector has a construction that is resistant to vibration.
